Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior BASIS Consultant for S/4HANA to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting systems in an HANA environment, ensuring optimal performance, and maintaining the integrity and security of the system. This role requires in depth knowledge of SAP system installations, configurations, upgrades, and migrations, as well as experience in disaster recovery, backup strategies, and system monitoring.

Key Responsibilities: Installation & Configuration: Install and configure SAP systems in a distributed environment to ensure optimal performance and availability. Disaster Recovery (DR) Setup and Management: Design, implement, and manage disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure system resiliency and data integrity. Backup Strategy & Implementation: Develop and execute robust backup strategies to protect critical business data and ensure quick recovery in case of failures. System & Job Monitoring: Monitor system performance, identify and troubleshoot issues, and ensure the smooth execution of scheduled jobs. Parameter Optimization: Analyze and optimize system parameters to enhance performance and efficiency. Client Copy and Notes/Patch Application: Perform client copies and apply SAP notes and patches to keep the system updated and secure. Patch Upgrade: Plan and execute patch upgrades to maintain system stability and security. Kernel Upgrade: Upgrade the SAP kernel to the latest version to ensure compatibility and performance improvements. Database (DB) Upgrade: Upgrade the HANA database to the latest version to take advantage of new features and improvements. Process Integration (PI) Upgrade: Upgrade the Process Integration components to ensure seamless data exchange between different systems. Operating System (OS) Migration: Plan and execute OS migrations to newer versions or different platforms, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of [X] years of experience as a BASIS Consultant with a focus on S/4HANA. Proven experience in installing, configuring, and managing SAP systems in a distributed environment. Indepth knowledge of SAP HANA, including backup and recovery, disaster recovery planning, and performance tuning. Experience with SAP upgrades (patch, kernel, DB, PI) and OS migrations. Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. SAP BASIS certification is a plus.
